Lovettsville Real Estate News

Last time we reviewed the highest priced sales in Lovettsville, this week we will look at the lowest. The average sales price in Loudoun County and in Lovettsville tends to hover in the mid to high $400,000s price range, which can be challenging for many when searching for more affordable housing … but there are options out there if you are flexible.
So far in 2015 there have been 5 homes to sell in the Lovettsville 20180 zip code under $250,000. Comparatively, all across Loudoun County there have been 454 to close in that price point during the same timeframe. The least expensive options in Loudoun tend to be condos, or smaller, older townhomes, but in Lovettsville you can sometimes find smaller, older single family homes that are in need of renovation in this price point. The lease expensive sale in Lovettsville so far for 2015 was a 2 BR, 1 BA bungalow on South Loudoun Street which closed in April for $167,000. An interesting note about this property, it was originally a gas station many, many years ago!
For those who are curious … the lowest priced residential sale in all of Loudoun County this year was a 1 BR, 1 BA condo in the Pembrook of Loudoun complex in Sterling which sold in October for $83,475.
